The village of Gallician is 1km from the campsite on the banks of the Rhone – Sete canal, with attractive moorings by the bridge and a towpath popular with walkers and fishermen. There is also a baker, a general store, two cafés, the cave co-operative (for wine) and of course a bullring.

Throughout the summer and particularly during the Fete Votive in July, you can watch the bulls being run through the streets and enjoy music and dancing until the small hours.

We are between Vauvert and St Gilles. Both towns have supermarkets, banks, restaurants and tourist offices.

Vauvert is the nearest at 4 km. St Gilles, at 10 km also offers a number of buildings of architectural and historical interest as well as a charming waterfront on the canal.
